TOPSHAM – The Coastal Youth Orchestra will perform its annual spring concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, at the Orion Performing Arts Center. The concert is free to the public.
The orchestra’s three ensembles, the Fiddleheads, the Coastal String Ensemble and the Coastal Chamber Orchestra, will perform under the direction of Karla Kelley and Nancy Roderick.
The concert will include a varied selection of music by Mozart, Dvorak, Jay Ungar and Molly Mason.
The orchestra was established in 2002 to provide a high-quality orchestral experience for string students of all levels and more advanced wind and brass musicians.
