Dear Sun Spots: I am writing in response to a request from a reader who was searching for an older version of the popular card game Skip Boo. Many readers graciously responded to her but were unsuccessful in sending her an old enough set with the large numbers on white background. Hurrah, Hurrah! I think I have found it for her.
It is an 1983 set in very good condition but is missing one wild card and one red 8. I’m sure she could use these two from her old set – voila!
I really hope she reads this as I do not have her contact information. She may call me at (207) 782-1751 and I will gladly send them to her. Happy to help! – Nadine, Lewiston.
Answer: Sun Spots can guarantee that Jim Murphy in Bethel will be thrilled with this response! Jim has been searching since 2002, once the cards he and his mother used were worn out. Please send to Ersel Murphy, 73 Mayville Road, Bethel, ME 04217-4409, (207) 824-2823.
Dear Sun Spots: Thank you for this very informative column. Do you know if there is a place in the Lewiston-Auburn area that could make a CD from a older 78-speed record? Also, I have many French records (33 1/3 and 78s). Is there any place or anyone who would be interested in these? Thank you. – No Name, Lewiston.
Answer: Sun Spots is not aware of any but perhaps readers familiar with this may be willing to help.
Dear Sun Spots: I read your column every day!

Dear Sun Spots: I am a handicapped person. I am looking for a trailer park anywhere in the area that will accept dogs. I have two in-house dogs that never go out unless someone goes out with them. My dogs are never left alone at anytime either. I would be interested in renting in a park that will allow my two dogs, or rent with an option to buy at a reasonable monthly rate, not to exceed my monthly income. I can be reached at (207) 786-9128 in Lewiston. Thank you for your help. – Bruce Wotton, Lewiston.
Dear Sun Spots: “Happy Anniversary” was by G. Stewart, and B. Eldridge and sung by Roy Rogers. It may be purchased via Amazon.com. The title is “A&E Biography – Roy Rogers.” – Roger, No Town.
