LEWISTON – Zachary C. House, 21, a resident of North Turner, died Tuesday, May 17, at Central Maine Medical Center, where he had been a patient since Thursday.

He was born on July 13, 1983, in Lewiston, the son of Michael and Dennette Butterfield House. He was a 2003 graduate of Leavitt High School, where he was a member of the National Honor Society, and was completing his sophomore year at Central Maine Community College in Auburn.

He was a Make-A-Wish Foundation recipient in 1994 and was given a trip to Disney World. He enjoyed watching racing on TV and playing video games, as well as music and art. He spent his spare time with his loyal dog, “Mogwai.”

He is survived by his parents of North Turner; a sister, Bethany House of North Turner; his grandparents, Lawrence “Punk” and Laverna House of North Turner, and Melvin and Avril Butterfield of New Sharon; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
