BOSTON – Normand G. Bolduc, 49, of Winthrop, Mass., died peacefully, Sunday, May 22, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, surrounded by his family.

He was born on March 20, 1956, in Lewiston, the son of the late Gerard and Carmen (Chretien) Bolduc. He graduated from Saints Peter and Paul Grammar School and St. Dominic High School in Lewiston. He graduated from the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston with the Class of 1978 and held a B.A. in architecture from there.

He was an architectural designer at Architectural Resources in Cambridge, Mass., for 15 years. Prior to that, he also worked as a designer at Vitols in Boston and Guiterrez Construction in Burlington, Mass.

He enjoyed coaching his company softball team for the past several years. He also enjoyed directing music theater productions in college and later as a volunteer with a high school youth group.

He is survived by his partner of 19 years, Lawrence Vitale, of Winthrop, Mass.; sisters, Monique and her husband, Lionel Cloutier, and Joline and her husband, Robert Thibault, both of Lewiston; brothers, Lionel Bolduc of Lewiston, and Richard and his wife, Sheila Bolduc, of Hartford City, Ind.; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and extended nieces and nephews.

He was also the brother-in-law of the late Suzanne Bolduc.
