CANTON – Jessica Lynn Eugley, 16, of the Canton Point Road, Canton, died unexpectedly Sunday morning, May 29, at her home.

She was born on May 4, 1989, the daughter of Wayne and Carole (Ferris) Eugley.

From April 13, 1992 until the time of her death, Jessica bravely dealt with a rare brain cancer and its debilitating effects on her body. She loved being with her family and caretakers. She especially enjoyed going to school at T.W. Kelley Dirigo Middle School. She loved being outdoors, being in anything that moved, and watching her animals.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Carole and Kenny Robbins of Canton; her father, Wayne Eugley of South Bristol; maternal grandmother, Mabel Ferris of Canton; paternal grandparents, Leonard and Beverly Eugley of South Bristol; paternal great-grandmother, Shirley Haley of South Bristol; half-brother, Branden Eugley; half-sister, Brianna Eugley of South Bristol; two stepbrothers, Ryan and Derek Robbins of Dixfield; aunts and uncles, David and Susan Ferris of West Buxton, Anne and Art Chamberlin of Canton, Jennifer Robbins of Canton, Michael and Michelle Eugley of Westbrook, and Tony and Christine Eugley of Bowdoinham; as well as many cousins.

The family wishes to thank Jessica’s caregivers and the SAD 21 teachers, educational technicians, and bus drivers for the years of loving care they gave to “Jessica Fred.”
