I do not understand why all of the mystery about the military base closures. The answer is simple. Known facts:

• Maine voted Democratic in the presidential election.

• Florida voted Republican in the presidential election, even if the votes had to be recounted until enough Democratic votes were lost in the process.

Guess where our Maine jobs are going? Did anyone hear the name Jacksonville in any of those reports?

Does it take a rocket scientist to solve this problem?
