DIXFIELD – The 7th annual Western Mountains Hoop Camp is scheduled for Dirigo High School beginning June 21, and running for 2 weeks. The camp is open to all girls and boys entering Grades 3-9 in the fall.
Dirigo High School coach Gavin Kane, along with veteran coaches Matt Clark, Rebecca Fletcher, Jamie Robinson and Mike Kane, will conduct the clinic. Registration forms can be picked up at local schools or by contacting Kane at 645-2499 .
Summer basketball for S.A.D. #21 area high school players will begin this week with two open gyms, Tuesday for boys from 6-7 p.m., and girls from 7-8, and Thursday for girls 6-7 p.m., and boys from 7-8. The first girls summer practice will be Friday, June 17 from 6-7:30 p.m., and for the boys on Sunday, June 19 from 7:30-9 p.m. All players entering Grades 9-12 in the fall from Peru or the Dixfield area are welcome.
