In a body blow to American Public Life, Paris Hilton has disclosed that in two years she will retire from the public arena she’s so helped enrich in order to raise a family with fiance Paris Latsis. Speaking to Newsweek, Hilton says “I don’t enjoy going out anymore. It’s such a pain. It’s everyone saying, “Let’s do a deal!’ … I’m just, like, “These people are such losers.”‘
“I consider myself a businesswoman and a brand,” she says.

Destiny’s Child breaks up
Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, who have played together in the record-industry sandbox since they were 9 years old, have decided to pursue their separate destinies.
In a statement, Destiny’s Child says it’s history. “After a lot of discussion and some deep soul-searching, we realized that our current tour has given us the opportunity to leave Destiny’s Child on a high note, united in our friendship.”
United in friendship: They go on to say they’ll all work hard to maintain their love-bond and leave the door open for a future reunion.
