LITCHFIELD – The annual cribbage tournament was held at Litchfield Senior Center on Academy Road on June 24.

Winners in the double elimination games were: first, Barbara Birkhimer; and runner-up, Donna Bartlett. Consolation round winners were Lucille Bois, first; and Sharon Spring, runner-up.

There were six tables of two players each.

Yard sale

BRUNSWICK – Coastal Humane Society Board Member Maria Wescott has announced that hundreds of items have been donated for the annual Second Chance Yard Sale to be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 16, on the grounds of CHS at 30 Range Road.

Duplicate bridge

LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Duplicate Bridge Club held its club championship on June 28 at the Multi-Purpose Center.

Overall winners in Flight A were: first, Leslie Buzzell and Nancy Lindgren; second, Mike Quinn and Luke Merry; third, David Lock and Leslie Lord; fourth, Doug and Betty Sise; fifth, Pat Quinn and Mary Leahey.

Flight B winners were Doug and Betty Sise. North/South winners in Flight A were: first, Leslie Buzzell and Nancy Lindgren; second, David Lock and Leslie Lord; tied at third, Fred Letourneau and Martine Begert with Connie Reynolds and Claire Lyons. East/West winners were: first, Mike Quinn and Luke Merry; second, Doug and Betty Sise; third, Pat Quinn and Mary Leahey.

There will be no game on Tuesday, July 5, as the Multi-Purpose Center is closed for the week. Play will resume at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, at the center. A partner is guaranteed.

The club also held a quarterly club championship game on June 29th at Schooner Estates. Overall winners in Flight A were: first, Jeanine Kivus and Martine Begert; second, Rosemarie Goodwin and Lucille Theriault; third, Leslie Buzzell and Misha Tomic; fourth, Ron and Connie Reynolds. Winners in Flight B were Roger Briggs and Claire Lyons.
