NORTH HAMPTON, N.H. (AP) – Police are investigating four reports of a man using a cell phone to snap pictures up women’s skirts.

It started at a North Hampton gas station on Tuesday when a woman said a man brushed up against her, leaned over and lowered his phone.

“She determined pictures were being taken and she confronted him and he fled,” said Sgt. Mike Maddocks.

Since then, police have received three more similar reports. Two were in clothing stores and one was at the Fox Run Mall in Newington.

“They all had skirts on. The common denominator seems to be the skirt,” Maddocks said.

Police say the suspect is described as a stocky, middle-aged man with a shaved head.

Police say Roger Perkins, 22, who has no permanent address, bolted from the passenger seat of a car they stopped early Saturday morning. He was wanted on at least four charges in two courts and is now being held at the Belknap County jail.

The driver of the car, Phillip Plummer of Laconia, also was wanted on child endangerment charges.

Police say they found large amounts of marijuana and cocaine in the car.
