NORWAY – There will be a potluck supper at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at the Second Congregational Church of Norway. Three young members of the church, Drew McLaren, Elliott Munn and Earl Rogers, will share their experiences while at the United Church of Christ (UCC) General Synod in Atlanta, Ga., earlier this month. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish.

Craft fair

PARIS – The East Otisfield Free Baptist Church’s annual craft fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School in South Paris. The event is held each year to raise funds for a scholarship.

The fair will feature crafts people from all over the state, homecooked foods and plants. There will be jewelry and furniture, as well as other items. For those wanting to have a lunch, there will be sandwiches, cookies, bars, chips and cold drinks.

’70 class reunion

PARIS – The Oxford Hills High School class of 1970 will have a 35-year reunion on Aug. 20 in South Paris. Oxford Hills alumni from 1967 to 1973 are also invited to join in the festivities. Vespers service

NORWAY – The Unitarian Universalist Church of Norway, 479 Main St., will offer a Sunday evening vespers service July 24 at 7:15 p.m. The service is one in a series presented by the Welcoming Congregation Committee as part of the process to become inclusive and welcoming to gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender and questioning friends, family and community.

The program will explore some of the elements of oppression, whether due to age, ethnicity, ability, gender orientation, religion or other differences.

There will be a light salad supper at 6:30 p.m. It is open to the public.

15-year reunion

PARIS – The Oxford Hills High School class of 1990 will hold its 15-year reunion from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at the Four Seasons Function Center, Main Street, South Paris.

Entertainment provided by DJ Rick Cummings. The cost of $30 a person includes a buffet dinner with entrees of beef, chicken, pasta and seafood, salad and dessert. To mark trails

PARIS – The Soil Conservation members of Paris met at the Cornwall Preserve off Paris Hill Road on July 10. They walked the trails and weed-whacked where needed. At noon Sunday, July 17, they plan to meet again to paint signs and mark trails. Anyone who would like to help is welcome. For more information, call Stewart Mason at 743-5674.
