BEVERLY, Mass. – Urshal Edwin Gammon died Tuesday, July 19, at the Herrick House in Beverly, Mass.
He was born in Norway on March 1, 1915; graduated from Norway High School in 1932 with honors; and Bates College in 1936 with honors.
He made his home in Byfield, Mass. For many years, he was an executive for the Liberty Mutual Insurance Co.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; two sisters, Eileen Russon of Norway, and Mary Cadorette of Goldsboro, N.C.; two brothers, Alan Gammon of Marcellus, N.Y., and Richard Gammon of Spokane, Wash.
