INVERNESS, Fla. – Andrew Joseph Pepin, 69, of Inverness, Fla., died Thursday, July 21, at Citrus Memorial Hospital.

A native of Lewiston, he was born Oct. 11, 1935, to Joseph and Lydia Pepin, and moved to Florida in 1987 from Lewiston, where he owned and operated his own accounting service.

He served in the U.S. Navy, and was a member of the American Legion Post in Lewiston and a life member of the VFW Post 4337 of Inverness, Fla.

He enjoyed woodcarving and was a member of the Nature Coast Carving Club.

He was Catholic, and belonged to Our Lady of Fatima Parish and the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Yvette Pepin, of Inverness, Fla.; son, Mark Pepin and wife, Becky, of Lewiston; daughter, Colette Young and husband, Jim, of Billerica, Mass.; his mother, Lydia Pepin Beaulieu of Lewiston; brother, Richard Pepin and wife, Solange, of Lewiston; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
