WILTON – “Keys to Harmony” will be the theme for the Western Mountain Women’s Connection meeting to be held from 11:15 to 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at the Boiler Room Restaurant on Main Street.

Special music will be provided by the Melodears, a local women’s quartet, who will sing some “oldies.” The group appeared on the Ted Mack Original Amateur Hour and members have recently reunited to sing for a class reunion and for the Western Mountain Women’s Connection.

Cherry Bradford of Derry, N.H., will be the special speaker. Her topic will be “Life is a Journey,” a story of meeting challenges and overcoming them. She teaches at the Manchester program for the deaf and hard of hearing. She has also taught the deaf in elementary schools for more than 25 years.

The cost for the luncheon is $11, which includes gratuity and tax. A nursery is available if needed with a reservation. Reservations and cancellations are essential. Call Millie at 684-4160 or Linda at 645-2412 or e-mail reservations to [email protected].

The Western Mountain Women’s Connection is sponsored by Stonecroft Ministries with no membership or dues. All women of the area are invited.
