Catherine Howard was awarded a bachelor of science degree from Lesley College in Cambridge, Mass., on May 23. Catherine graduated cum laude with a counseling psychology major.

Lesley College specializes in preparing women and men for professions in the areas of education, human services, management, and the arts. Lesley’s academic programs integrate a strong foundation in the liberal arts with professional course work and practical internships.

While a student at Lesley College, Catherine interned at the Child Development Center, the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the Fransciscan Children’s Hospital in Boston.

Catherine has been accepted to the Graduate School at Lesley University. She will begin her studies in September in counseling psychology with specialization in school counseling.

Catherine is a 2001 graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and the daughter of Maureen and Jim Howard of Otisfield.
