EUSTIS – A Eustis man faces a robbery charge after he took a 10-speed bicycle from a man and threatened to use physical force to get it, state police Trooper Randy Keaten said Tuesday.

Patrick Daggett, 34, formerly of Wilton, was arrested Friday after the strong-arm robbery on Dead River Road, Keaten said.

The trooper said that by the time he arrived, Daggett had returned the bicycle to the owner.

Daggett was taken to the Franklin County jail in Farmington and posted $100 cash bail on Sunday to be released, according to the jail’s arrest log.

He is scheduled to appear in 12th District Court in Farmington on Wednesday, Sept. 7.
