GORHAM, N.H. – The Forest Service Centennial will be celebrated on Thursday, Aug. 25, at the White Mountain National Forest Festival at the base of the Mount Washington Auto Road.

There will be information booths and activities during the day-long event. Everyone is invited to attend the festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. rain or shine. All events and tours will be based at the Mount Washington Auto Road except for the guided tour of the Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest, which will be held at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The tour includes visits to research sites and the explanations of the key findings of long-term forest ecology studies.
