AUBURN – Central Maine Community College will offer cabinet making and timber framing starting in September. Cabinet Making will be 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays from Sept. 6 through Dec. 13.

Participants will build a two-door, one-drawer 24-by-30-by-12-inch cabinet to take home. Participants should have a basic understanding of cabinet components, assembly and tooling processes. The course cost is $375 and includes materials and cabinet.

Timber Framing (BCT 012-21), will run from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 7 to Dec. 14. Participants will cut out and fit a bent frame and fit it together in the shop. The cost of $375 includes a book.
