Dear Sun Spots: I am writing in response to Lonely in Auburn to welcome him to attend our group Becoming Bright Again here in Lewiston.

We are a support group for divorced, separated, widowed or single people. While we offer a support group every Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Meeting Room of the Church of the Nazarene, 1152 Main St., Lewiston, we also try to go out and do things socially. We are always happy to meet new people and we welcome Lonely in Auburn and any other people who would be interested in attending our group. For more information, please phone 740-7083 and leave a message. We will return your call. – C. Field, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: Does anyone in the Lisbon Falls area have a copy of an older children’s book “The Teddy Bear of Bumpkin Hollow” that they would be willing to part with?

Answer: Unfortunately, Sun Spots did not locate anything here in the Sun Journal archives. However, in addition to responses from readers, you might also like to try contacting Michael Lord at the Androscoggin Historical Society, 2 Turner St., Auburn, (207) 784-0586. Dear Sun Spots: Your column has been a saving grace for many in the past, and I am hoping you will be able to get results from your readers for two requests:

Secondhand Sensations and More, is a new, upscale consignment shop in the Lewiston-Auburn area. We have a large variety of items, from household goods, home furnishings, books, antiques and clothes of all sizes and styles for men, women, and teens. We also have an extremely large quantity of good quality, baby items and clothes from newborn to 4T at very reasonable prices. Our problem? The infant clothes don’t fit on adult hangers. We are seeking a source of baby hangers to enable us to display them.

We also have a need for maternity clothing in good condition to place on consignment. If you or any of your readers can help, please call or stop by the store. We are at 1567 Lisbon Road, next to the Rowe-Mitsubishi and may be reached via phone at (207) 783-4100. Thank you. – Kathi, No Town.
