AUBURN – Heather’s Bakery & Confection Shoppe has opened at 1056 Center St.

The bakery features pastries, cheesecakes, specialty desserts, bars, brownies, cookies, signature cakes and handmade breads. Breakfast catering is also offered. Gourmet coffees, teas and beverages may be purchased along with fresh muffins, scones, cinnamon buns and homemade danish.

Owner Heather Keach received her degree in culinary arts from Central Maine Community College and has worked as a baker for seven years.

Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
