Magalloway Plantation – Lorraine G. (Lizotte) Cameron, 78, of Magalloway Plantation, passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, at the Ledgeview Living Center in West Paris.

She was born Jan. 18, 1927, in Rumney, N.H., daughter of the late Telesphore and Jennie (Parris) Lizotte.

She worked primarily at home raising her family but also found time to cook and sell baked goods outside the home. For a short period of time, she worked for The Balsams Grand Resort Hotel and also for area camps.

Her passions were gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.

She also collected teddy bears and quilted. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing, and taught hunter safety as a member of the National Rifle Association.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband, Emery Cameron Sr. of Magalloway Plantation; a daughter, Darlene Kenney and husband, Earl “Skip,” of Colebrook, N.H.; two sons, Emery “Alton” Cameron Jr. of Magalloway Plantation, and Terry Cameron and wife, Debra, of Magalloway Plantation; two sisters, Jean Kenney and husband, Robert, of Errol, N.H., and Bonnie Lavoie and husband, Robert, of Connecticut; four brothers, Pete Lizotte of Epping, N.H., Carlton Lizotte of York, Pa., Larry Lizotte and wife, Linda, of Deerfield, N.H., and Dennis Lizotte and wife, Carrie, of Northwood, N.H.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Leo Lizotte and Charles Demers.
