LEWISTON – The wedding of Landis Marion Hood and Christopher Vancleef Bornales was held at 10 a.m. in a private ceremony on Oct. 2, 2004, at the First United Pentecostal Church in Lewiston. A larger ceremony will be held in 2006. Pastor H.E. Churchill officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Bornales is the daughter of Dana and Jackie Hood of North Turner. Mr. Bornales is the son of Luisa Bornales of Lewiston.

The bride wore a floor-length, off-white gown with beaded bodice and carried a bouquet of roses, carnations and greens.

Jackie Little, friend of the couple, was matron of honor and junior bridesmaid was Chantel Poland, daughter of the bridegroom. Jyllian Bornales, daughter of the couple, was flower girl.

Todd Little, friend of the couple, performed the duties of best man and Roman Bornales, son of the couple, was ring bearer.

The couple is residing in North Turner.

The bride is a 1993 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and a 1994 graduate of Mr. Bernard’s School of Hair Fashion. She also attended Mid-State College for a year and Central Maine Technical College for a year. She is a trained medical technician and is a stay-at-home mother.

The bridegroom is a 1993 graduate of Lewiston High School and is a state-certified supervisor of asbestos and lead abatement. He is employed by Acadia Contractors Inc. in Turner.
