POLAND – SeniorsPlus will present “Aging Well and Living Well” from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, a day for older adults and active seniors. The second annual day-long conference will be held at the Poland Spring Inn.

The conference will feature educational and informative workshops on topics such as retirement living, travel, reverse mortgages, investments, long-term care options, fitness, home buying and selling and health.

“This day will be all about helping older adults make choices concerning positive lifestyle options,” said Susan Goulet, director of development for SeniorsPlus.

John Williams of Williams Broadcasting will be the keynote speaker followed by workshops and a panel discussion on “Financing Your Retirement.”

Attendees can access blood pressure screenings conducted by Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, osteoporosis screenings conducted by Central Maine Orthopaedics and hearing aid demonstrations conducted by Hearing Healthcare Associates.

There will be door prizes, a silent auction and a Model T Ford available to take folks for a ride.
