PORTLAND – The wedding of Christina Suzanne Olson and Jonathan Brady Peyton was held at 4:30 p.m. on June 17 at St. Joseph’s Church in Portland. The Rev. Peter Kaseta officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Peyton is the daughter of Dan and Sheila Olson of Turner. Mr. Peyton is the son of Pat and Debbie Peyton of Gorham.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a majestic tulle white ball gown with crystal embroidery and she carried a bouquet of roses and lilies.
A friend of the bride, Kimberly Hill, was honor attendant and bridesmaids were Katrina Denis, Jen Giles and Christine Theriault, friends, Colleen Olson, aunt, and Jen Olson and Makala Olson, cousins.
Serving as best man for his brother was Kristopher Peyton and ushers were Kevin Hakala, John Lewis, Jason Busler, Bob Bedard, Eric Letourneau and Dan Escobar, friends, and Jacob Olson, brother of the bride.
A reception followed at the Marriott Sable Oaks in South Portland, after which the couple traveled to Sandals Resort in the Bahamas. They are residing in Portland.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2002 graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is employed at Standard Insurance Company.
The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He is employed at UNUM Provident.
