LEWISTON – Ryan Corliss, 19, of Cheyenne Road, Freeport, died early Saturday morning, Oct. 1, at Central Maine Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Durham.

He was born in Brunswick on June 15, 1986, the son of Margaret Moore and Raymond Corliss. He attended schools in Freeport and had recently graduated from Freeport High School in the Class of 2005.

He had just began classes in automotive technology at Central Maine Community College in Auburn.

He was working for Jason York in South Freeport as a lobsterman.

Ryan enjoyed working on cars, being with his family and friends, and making slideshows with pictures and music.

Ryan touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by his family and many close friends.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret Moore of Freeport; his father, Raymond Corliss of Freeport; his two brothers, Pvt. John Moore stationed at Fort Carson, Colo., and Justin Corliss of Freeport; his maternal grandfather, Frederick Moore of Pleasant Point; his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Jane Corliss of Freeport; his “special” parents, Lynn and Jon Taisey, and their children Gail, Ben, and Sam, all of Raymond; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
