LEWISTON – An informational meeting to benefit grandparents, uncles and aunts raising grandchildren, nieces and nephews will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, in the Lobby Conference Room, St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, 99 Campus Ave. The program will focus on new laws and resources. Senior luncheon

LEWISTON – The Senior College “Food for Thought” luncheon program at USM/Lewiston-Auburn on Friday, Oct. 14, will feature a presentation by Paul and Sally Belisle on their experiences as part of the Habitat for Humanity Project in building housing for the homeless.

The program will be held in the function room at USM/Lewiston-Auburn beginning at noon. The door opens at 11:30 a.m. The cost, which includes lunch, is $6 with advance reservation or $8 at the door. Reservations should be made by noon on Thursday, Oct. 13, at 753-6510 or www.usm.maine.edu/lac.

Grange show

GREENE – Androscoggin Grange 8 will hold its annual variety show at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, and 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, at the Grange. The western themed program will include music, comedy and refreshments.
