MANCHESTER – The Women’s Maine State Golf Association held its annual meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at Augusta Country Club. The organization has 429 members and 79 member clubs throughout the state.
Leading the list of award winners were local sisters Martha White and Pennie Cummings. White, now playing out of Hermon Meadows, posted low gross for the season with an average of 76.57 for her seven best rounds. Cummings placed third in that category with 82.
