DURHAM, N.H. (AP) – University of New Hampshire students want school administrators to allow condom vending machines in residence halls and on-campus apartments.

Free condoms already are available at the campus infirmary during office hours. Many resident assistants and managers also hand out condoms, but some students complain they aren’t always available when needed.

UNH’s student senate passed a resolution this week encouraging administrators to install the machines. They say quick, easy, round-the-clock access to condoms will make students even safer.
