ORONO (AP) – Steve Baylark rushed for a career-high 198 yards and scored three touchdowns to lead Massachusetts to a 35-14 win over Maine on Saturday.

The Minutemen (6-1, 5-0 Atlantic 10) led 13-7 at halftime after a 14-yard touchdown run from Baylark and a 17-yard TD pass from Liam Coen to Mike Douglas.

Maine (2-5, 0-4 Atlantic 10) took a brief 14-13 lead late in the third quarter on a 35-yard TD pass from Ron Whitcomb to Kevin McMahan. McMahan also caught a 57-yard pass from Whitcomb for Maine’s first touchdown.

But Massachusetts regained the lead when Baylark caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Coen at 2:21 of the third quarter.

Baylark caught six passes for 64 yards, while Coen completed 21 of 31 passes for 236 yards and three touchdowns. Cesar Rosario tacked on an 89-yard interception return with 2:59 left in the fourth quarter.
