LISBON – Announcement is made of the engagement of Joy Andreasen and Richard Sampson, both of Cumberland.

The future bride is the daughter of the late Howard E. and Mary J. Greer of Cumberland. She is a graduate of Greely High School and was formerly employed as a bank teller at Fleet Bank and as a floral designer at Allen’s Farm and Dodge the Florist. She is currently retired.

Mr. Sampson is the son of George and Barbara Sampson of Lisbon. He was educated in Portland and Bangor schools and was employed in security with the Massachusetts State Police at Fort Devens. He is currently self-employed.

A country/western wedding will be held in the fall of 2006 in Lewiston.
