LEWISTON – Roger and Terry Fournier of Lewiston celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 4 at Martindale Country Club in Auburn. The party was hosted by their children.
Special entertainment by the family included a DVD with pictures and music of the couple’s 50 years together. A memory board was featured and a buffet was served. Over 100 people attended the party and enjoyed music.
Mr. Fournier and the former Therese Theriault were married Sept. 5, 1955, at Holy Family Church in Lewiston. Their children are John Fournier and wife, Christine, Lisa Fournier and fiancé, Jake Cyr, and Pat Fournier. Their grandchildren are Jacques, Kelsey and Haley.
Mr. Fournier owned and operated, with his brother, Larry, Happy Jack’s Restaurant in Lewiston for 33 years. The couple enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf and spending their winters in Daytona Beach, Fla.
