NORWAY – Family and friends gathered together on Sept. 17 at the Norway Center Church for the wedding of Victoria Wyman and Mike Wilson. The Rev. John Williams officiated.

Mrs. Wilson is the daughter of Harlan and Rita Braley of Caribou. Mr. Wilson is the son of Blynn and Janice Thurston of Norway and Paul Wilson of Florida.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her son, Nathan Wyman, and she wore a white gown with spaghetti straps and embellished bodice. She carried a bouquet of long-stemmed red roses.

A childhood friend, Kelly Gay of Newport, was honor attendant and bridesmaids were Dee Quatticci of New Gloucester and Colleen Paige of Pittsfield.

Serving as best man for his brother was Mark Wilson of Fryeburg, and groomsmen were Todd Bell and George Worts of Colorado, friends.

A reception followed at the church hall, after which the couple spent the weekend in Boothbay Harbor. A trip to Florida is planned for Nov. 2. They are residing in Caribou with their two sons, Ben and Nat.

The bride is a 1988 graduate of Nokomis High School and is employed part-time for the Caribou School System.

The bridegroom is a 1981 graduate of Oxford Hills High School and served 10 years in the U.S. Air Force. He is a weather technician for the National Weather Service in Caribou.
