Class meeting

RUMFORD – Stephens High School class of 1944 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at Oxford Lanes on Route 2.

Art on display

RUMFORD – Pat Chandler of Norway will show her paintings at Pennacook Art Center during November. The show will open with a reception from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4.

Chandler has been a professional portrait painter since the 1960s and her work hangs in private collections all over the United States. Most of her paintings in the exhibit have never been shown in western Maine.

Women to meet

LIVERMORE – The women of Stephens High School class of 1956 will meet from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Lake Shore Diner. Carpooling will take place at the Dixfield Post Office at 11:30 a.m. Call Jean Gallant at 364-2218 for details.

Memorial service

RUMFORD – St. Timothy Circle 504, Daughters of Isabella, will meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, for a memorial service for deceased members. A potluck supper will follow and a regular meeting will be held downstairs in the parish center. Committee members will be Angie Arsenault, Druscilla Breton, Pat Hopkins, Helen Chuzas and Joan Lepage.
