WINTHROP – Funeral services were held Saturday for Kathleen N. Oakes at the Faith Alliance Church, 4 Pleasant St., Winthrop.

The Rev. James Murphy officiated at the service. Cynthia Brown was the organist and soloist, singing “In the Garden.” Other selections were “Like a River Glorious” and “Amazing Grace.”

Kalle Oakes gave a tribute to his mom and also read Psalm 103.

Pallbearers were Daryl Madore, William Burgess, John Chabot, Craig Ward, Marc Harrington and Frank Ricker.

A reception was held for family and friends at the Henry L. Cottrell School, Monmouth. Interment at Monmouth Ridge Cemetery, Monmouth.
