LEWISTON – Brooke Blake and Jason Duchette were married on Aug. 13 in Lewiston, by Paul Brunetti, justice of the peace.

The bride’s parents are Tristan and Brenda Blake of Plymouth. The bridegroom’s parents are Mark and Gina Duchette of Lewiston.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. The maid of honor was Lauren Blake of Plymouth, sister of the bride. Bridal attendants were Lisa Bova of North Andover, Mass., college friend of the bride, Sarah Levasseur of Lewiston, college friend of the bride, Shannon Duchette of Lewiston, sister of the bridegroom, Jennifer Ricardi of Keene, friend of the bride, and Cara Connors of Long Island, N.Y., college friend of the bride. The flower girl was Annabella Perron of Topsham, goddaughter of the bridegroom.

The best man was Nathan Lamie of Lebanon, friend of the bridegroom, and groomsmen were Scott Duchette of Lewiston, brother of the bridegroom, Jason Pleau of Turner, friend of the bridegroom, Steve Bell of Lewiston, friend of the bridegroom, Andre Levasseur of Lewiston, friend of the couple, and Benjamin LaChance of Lewiston, friend of the bridegroom.

A garden reception was held at the home of bridegroom’s parents in Lewiston. After a honeymoon cruise to Mexico, the couple is residing at their new home in Thornton.

The bride graduated from Plymouth Regional High School and from Stonehill College with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and psychology. She plans to graduate from Plymouth State University in January, with a master’s degree. She is currently employed as a fourth and fifth grade teacher at Wentworth Elementary School.

The bridegroom graduated from Lewiston High School and the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in business. He is currently attending the Upper Valley Teacher Institute and plans to graduate in May.
