AUBURN – Edward and Kathy Talpey are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Erin Lynn Talpey, to David Allen Gunderson, son of Duane and Chalow Gunderson of Avondale, Ariz.

The wedding took place on May 14 at 4 p.m. at the Sixth Street Congregational Church in Auburn. Mrs. Gunderson arrived in a late model car dressed in a white a-line gown. Her accessories included a veil bordered with rhinestones, an anklet given to her by her husband and diamond earrings from her late uncle, Mark Theriault.

Her grandfather, Joseph Harvey Theriault escorted her halfway down the aisle, where her father met her, escorting her to the altar. Cory and Caleb Spruill were ushers at the wedding and Nicole and Taylor Conley and Ashley Talpey were wedding helpers.

The bridal party included bridesmaids Kellie Morris and Sandra Pomerantz, and groomsmen Adam Talpey and Todd Parker. Maid of honor was Alexis Bonzey, and best man was Tom Kasperzik. Mr. Gunderson’s son, Nathaniel Gunderson, was the ring bearer.

Officiating at the wedding was Pastor Richard Kimball. The couple expressed their love for one another by vows they had written together and by the exchange of rings and the lighting of the unity candle.

Music at the ceremony was provided by a brass quintet, which included a cousin of the bride, Seth Morton, and uncle of the bride, Bruce Theriault. Seth Morton also played the piano and sang as well, accompanied by singer Shelly Young.

The wedding reception took place shortly after the ceremony at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn, after which the couple and son, Nathan, vacationed in Orlando, Fla. The couple is residing in Phoenix, Ariz.

Mrs. Gunderson is the granddaughter of Joseph Harvey and Margaret Theriault of Auburn, and Frank and Cecilia Talpey of Englewood, Fla. She is a 2002 graduate of Edward Little High School and is employed at U.S. Capital Mortgage in Phoenix, Ariz.

Mr. Gunderson is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Goodwin Gunderson of Elderon, Wisc., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Boonsong of Thailand. He is a 1992 graduate of Warren Township High School in Gurnee, Ill., and a 1996 graduate of Northern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in business.
