Pumpkin Fair

AUBURN – A Pumpkin Fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 78 Pleasant St. It will feature baked goods, crafts, books, plants, white elephant items, jewelry and refreshments. The fair is sponsored by the Episcopal Church Women to benefit outreach programs.

Fair, luncheon

AUBURN – The Woman’s Literary Union will hold its annual holiday fair and luncheon from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at the clubhouse, 19 Elm St. Lunch cost is $7.

Yule by lake

AUBURN – St. Philip’s Church will host its holiday fair, “Christmas by the Lake,” from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19. The event, in its 30th. year, offers a wide array of features, including woodcrafts, baked goods, homemade candies, patchwork and quilts, pickles, jams and other preserved food products, balsam wreaths, knits, jewelry, Christmas decorations, handicrafts, doll clothes, a children’s activity room, and “hidden treasures.”

Pizza and sandwiches will be sold as well as baked beans to take home or eating on site. The church is located on Turner Street, Route 4, across from Lake Auburn and is handicapped accessible.

Gingerbread Fair

AUBURN – The First Universalist Church, Unitarian Universalist of Auburn will hold its annual Gingerbread Fair from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the church, corner of Pleasant, Elm and Spring streets. Parking is on the Spring Street side. The entrance is handicapped accessible.

AUBURN – A Christmas fair will be held from 8 a.m to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Grace Lutheran Church, 757 Summer St.

Fair, lunch

LISBON FALLS – A Christmas fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Lisbon Falls Methodist Church, 26 School St. A lunch of beef stew, bread, beverage and gingerbread will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $5 for adults, $2 for children.

Lamplighter fair

MECHANIC FALLS – A Lamplighter Christmas Fair will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the First Congregational Church of Mechanic Falls. Bows and boughs, homemade goodies, candy, cookies, white elephant items, steamed hot dogs and pie to eat in or take out. All are welcome. Coffee and muffins will be available.

Fair at Legion

MECHANIC FALLS – The Mechanic Falls American Legion Post 150 Auxiliary will hold a craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19. The fair will include a raffle table, food sale and refreshments.

Holiday fair

NEW GLOUCESTER – First Congregational-Christian Church will hold its annual holiday fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19. Handcrafted needlework, homemade baked goods and candy will be offered along with other handmade crafts. There will be a collection of “white elephant” items from local households. A special children’s activity room will be open from 10 to noon, staffed by church youth.

Early shoppers may take advantage of coffee and doughnuts, followed by luncheon items featuring a baked potato bar.

The festivities will end with a drawing for the winner of all the makings of a Family Game Night, a treasure chest filled with classic board and card games plus snacks.

The Women’s Evening Guild sponsors the fair. Proceeds fund the service projects the groups sponsor throughout the year. All are welcome. For more information, call 926-3260.
