PULASKI COUNTY, Mo. – Bonnie A. Hudson, of Waynesville, Mo., was called home to be with her Lord Saturday evening, Nov. 12, as the result of an automobile accident. She attained the age of 38 years, 10 months and 10 days.

The daughter of Dennis and Elizabeth (Haney) Royer, she was born Jan. 2, 1967, in Southbridge, Mass. She grew up and attended school in Maine and was a 1985 graduate of Winthrop High School. She married Ralph Hudson on April 17, 1997, in Anniston, Ala., and to this union, two daughters, Chelsey and Andrea, were born. Bonnie was a devoted military wife and mother of her two beautiful girls.

She was currently employed by the Jones Investment Group, St. Robert, Mo., and Barker’s Deluxe Kennels of Richland, Mo. Bonnie worked as a bookkeeper for several years. Being a wife of a career military man, she worked and volunteered in many locations throughout the United States. She worked for MWR and assisted with the Family Readiness Group at Fort Bliss, Texas.

Bonnie enjoyed volunteer work at her daughters’ schools and for different charities. She was also quite skillful at cross-stitching, quilting, scrapbooking and anything crafty. Her passion was caring for animals.

While stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., the Hudson family attended Westside Baptist Church in Waynesville. They were very active in the Awana’s Program.

Bonnie was a genuine person who truly cared for others. She was a woman of incredible beauty whose smile would light up a room.

She will be very sadly missed by her husband, SFC Ralph Hudson, and their two daughters, Chelsey and Andrea Hudson, all of Waynesville, Mo.; two stepchildren, Ralph and Heather Hudson of South Paris; her mother and stepfather, Elizabeth and Paul Douin of Augusta; her father and stepmother, Dennis and Carol Royer of Livermore Falls; her grandmother, Ruth Haney of Massachusetts; one brother, Bill Royer of Livermore Falls; one sister, Christine Collins of Gray; and several other relatives and friends.
