Seniors dinner

MONMOUTH – Members of the Golden Age Club have decided to hold a Christmas dinner and party at the usual meeting place in the Packard Activity Center. A turkey dinner will be served at noon Wednesday, Dec. 7, with exchange of gifts to follow.

In past years club members have traveled out of town to various restaurants, but mass transportation is no longer available. Therefore, Wes and Bertha Johnson have volunteered to deep-fry turkeys and bring them to the dining area where they will be carved and served. Other members will bring all the fixings, such as potatoes, vegetables, cranberry sauce, stuffing, rolls and desserts.

Anyone wishing to attend should call secretary Marilyn Perry at 933-4279 for reservations and what might be needed to fill out the menu.
