NEWPORT, N.H. (AP) – A lawyer arrested on a charge of having marijuana in her purse as she tried to enter Newport District Court says she is being set up.

Police say a court security officer found a baggie containing 10.4 grams of marijuana and rolling papers in the purse Susan Hankin-Birke, 46, of Salisbury last month.

She says someone planted the pot in her purse.

She was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.
