LIVERMORE FALLS – The town has received a “huge” stack of applications for the job of sewer clerk, selectmen’s Chairman Ken Jacques said Tuesday.

There were so many applications, he said, they didn’t bother to count them.

The applications will be reviewed and interviews set up, he said.

The position was left vacant last month after sewer clerk Faith Nichols resigned due to health and personal issues.

Jacques also said Tuesday that selectmen will have a complete, full audit report at their next regular meeting on Monday, Dec. 19.

The auditor will be there to discuss the audit report with the board, he said.
