LEWISTON – Florence M. Leclair, 83, of Lewiston, died Monday, Dec. 19, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center after a short illness.

Born in Lewiston on Dec. 15, 1922, she was the daughter of Joseph and Eva Noonan.

She worked as a cotton spinner at the W.S. Libbey Mill for 52 years. She was the wife of William Leclair, who predeceased her.

She was a resident of Lewiston all her life and was a member of the Acme Club, where she was an active snowshoer. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Gaudette Belanger and Sandra Vye, both of Lewiston; four grandchildren, her devoted grandson, Aaron Gaudette and wife, Ivy, of Lewiston, Athena Gaudette and husband, Jay, of Maryland, and Tasha and Noah Vye, both of Lewiston; and two great-grandchildren, Skylar and Peyton Gaudette, both of Lewiston.
