LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met Dec. 12 at Murray Hall for the annual Christmas party with 46 members present. A meal was provided by the group. The hall was decorated by Chairwoman Shirley Couture and her helpers.

Santa Claus visited during the meal and gave each member a box of chocolate-covered cherries. The Senior singers sang Christmas carols, accompanied by Mary Groleau.

After the tables were cleared, members played a game. A door prize was won by Alice Demoras and the 50-50 by Cecile Hathaway. Cindy Hebert had brought in a jar filled with Christmas candy and the members were asked to guess the number of pieces in the jar. Marie Gagnon was the winner.

Members will next hold a Chinese auction with articles brought in by the seniors. After that, members will break until Jan. 9. The group gave a round of applause to Couture for the party.
