LEWISTON – The Jesus Party will hold its second annual New Year’s Party for Kids Only” on Saturday, Dec. 31. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. when the children will gather at the ministry’s headquarters, 291 Bates St., for a special concert, “The Hallelujah Hop,” performed by Elizabeth, Danielle, Japheth and Kaitlyn Taylor.

The music will be a selection of 1960’s favorites with lyrics changed to a Christian theme. The children will see a holiday film, receive New Year’s hats, leis and noise-makers and there will be an array of food.

The celebration will wrap up at 9 p.m. when all attending will have an opportunity to reflect on the past year, express their goals for 2006 and ring in the New Year with Shirley Temple drinks.
