LEWISTON – Sally B. Russell, 68, of Range Road, New Gloucester, passed away Saturday, Dec. 31, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center after a long illness.
She was born in Rumford on Aug. 12, 1937, the daughter of William A. and Flora A. (Bushley) Burgess. She attended Frye Grammar Schools and graduated from Stephens High School in Rumford.
She married Otho B. Russell on Nov. 12, 1966. She was employed by New England Telephone, currently Verizon, retiring in 1994.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Otho Russell of New Gloucester; several brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; and several siblings.
