Unless otherwise noted, the following are to be arraigned on March 7 in Rumford District Court:

• Samantha L. Cormier, 20, Rumford, warrant for unpaid fines on charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, 11:30 p.m. Jan. 2 on Cumberland Street. She was released on $155 cash bail.

• Anthony Smith, 20, Carthage, operating without a license, 10:25 p.m. Jan. 1 on Route 2. He was released on $700 unsecured bail.

• Norman Johnson, 35, Rumford, warrant for unpaid fines on charge of operating while license suspended, 4:25 p.m. Jan. 1 on Hancock Street. He was taken to Oxford County Jail in Paris.

• Nathan Dayon, 24, Rumford, violation of conditions of release, 1:30 a.m. Dec. 31 on Oxford Avenue. He was taken to Oxford County Jail and was to be arraigned at 1 p.m. on Jan. 3.

• Martin Holmquist, 27, Peru, furnishing alcohol to a minor, possession of a schedule W drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia, 1:20 a.m. Dec. 30 on Cumberland Street. He was released on $2,000 unsecured bail.

Accidents

• Dec. 26, 3:10 p.m. – Ice on South Rumford Road was blamed for causing a 1995 Ford station wagon, operated by Harland Cofferen, 23, of Mexico, to crash into High Bridge, and then go off the road and into rocks. Of his three passengers, Lillian Cofferen, 22, and their two children, Jade, 2, and Rose Kelly, 22 days, only Lillian Cofferen was taken by Med-Care Ambulance to Rumford Hospital for neck and back pain. The totaled car sustained an estimated $4,000 damage.
