AUGUSTA – Clyde Kerner, 62, of Gardiner, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, at an Augusta hospital.

He was born and raised in California. He and his forever loving wife, also a native, chose to move to Maine in 1998, impressed by the beauty and tranquility of the state.

He was a Vietnam veteran from 1966 to 1970 with full honor. He was an avid fisherman who loved the outdoors and people as well. He will be sincerely missed by all.

He worked at Goodwill in Lewiston for five years as assistant manager.

He is survived by his wife, Janette Kerner, of Lewiston.
