AUBURN – Gipper’s Sports Grill scholarship winners have been announced.
The scholarship is given annually to three students (one each from Lewiston, St. Dominic Regional and Edward Little high school) who have participated in an organized sport and excelled in the classroom.
The $750 checks were awarded at a Gipper’s reception after completion of the students’ first semester of college. The winners are:
Marina MacDonald, Lewiston High School, daughter of John and MaryAnn MacDonald. She is attending Keene State College and studying graphic design.
Katherine Hughes, Edward Little High School, daughter of Tom and Mary Hughes. She is attending Northpark University and studying nursing.
Michelle Hamann, St. Dominic Regional High School, daughter of Sue and Pierre Hamann, She is attending Elmira College and studying biology.
