LEWISTON – The 13th annual Thomas E. Lahey Foundation Bowlfest will take place Saturday at Spare-Time Recreation with a new wrinkle added. A total of 34 teams (5 person) will compete for bragging rights.

Registration is set for noon and the tourney will start at 12:30 sharp.

The format will consist of 3 strings. Winners will be determined in both handicap and scratch divisions. Individual awards will be given in various categories.

A special event has been added this year. The Lahey Individual Strike Championship will be contested following the 3-string team competition.

The Lahey Foundation was established in memory or Thomas E. Lahey. It provides financial assistance to graduates of Lewiston, Edward Little and St. Dom’s high schools. Since its inception, the Lahey Foundation has awarded over $110,000 in scholarship funds to local students.
