NEW LONDON, N.H. (AP) – Three workmen suffered serious burns when their truck burst into flames during the weekend.

Officials say two of the men were flown to a Massachusetts hospital after the truck blew up and burned Saturday at a house construction site.

New London Fire Chief Peter Stanley said the men were pumping spray foam insulation into the house on Lake Sunapee.

He said one man was in the back of the truck when it exploded and the other two came to his aid. They were burned after jumping into the burning truck and driving it away from the home.

The chief said officials don’t know yet what caused the blast.
